About

ACMB-Team2015-19

I started W3 in 2011 after my father took his own life and left me feeling worthless and broken. Writing became my therapy and  now I write about anything and everything that’s on my heart.  My life is blessed by my gentle husband and six super awesome kiddos.  I simply love to share my love for Jesus and what He’s done in my life.

Through all of my flaws and beautiful broken pieces, I hope that I can be an example of forgiveness and grace.

My goal is to raise compassionate and giving kids

One day I dream of owning an ice cream truck and traveling around Texas selling Blue Bell shakes and crispy french fries.

I usually write about forgiveness, autism, suicide and how amazing my sweet and loving Jesus is.

  3. Life can be hard in so many ways sometimes. I can’t imagine dealing with you’ve had to. A phrase you used – broken pieces. I write piano music. All free style improv. The last piece I recorded, and it can be found on both of my blogs, which I don’t usually do, is titled “picking up broken pieces” But the posts are different.

I am Buddhist. There are many of the sadness lessons taught about how to live life, But of course there are differences, too. The most important thing is are you happy with who you are. People can learn so much from each other when we take the time to listen and less time telling people we are right and they are wrong and instead respect someone who is honest in their faith. There are so many people who are quick to say they believe in something but it doesn’t show in their life. You look happy. That is what matters. I will be back to read more. Nice to meet you.

One last thing. I believe nothing happens by accident. People come into your life for a reason, but sometimes our eyes aren’t open and they flash by and are gone if we aren’t looking. Then we lose. Life is so much better if we pay attention.
